Direct Booking Terms

Our commitment to quality

To ensure a seamless experience for all guests, direct bookings require a signed rental agreement and a refundable security deposit. This protects the home and ensures we can continue offering a high-standard, boutique stay.

Security deposit

Collected at booking and fully refunded within 7 days of departure, pending a successful walkthrough.

Guest agreement

A brief legal form covering house rules and damage policy must be completed to finalize your stay.

Frequently asked questions

1. When can we begin and conclude our stay?
To ensure your retreat is perfectly prepared, check-in begins at 10:00 AM and check-out is at 4:00 PM. This window allows our boutique turnover team to curate every detail of your home so you can arrive and immediately sink into your vacation experience.
2. How will we access the home?
Your seamless stay begins with a personalized digital entry code, sent directly to you on the morning of your arrival. We ask that you use the front door as your primary entrance. For your peace of mind, the door features an auto-lock system that secures the home 30 seconds after entry.
3. Are there any unique architectural features or steps?
In keeping with our commitment to transparency and your safety, please note that there is a physical step down required to transition from the home's interior into the garage and front door. The number of steps vary by property — please reach out for additional details.
4. Is the garage intended for guest entry and exit?
While the garage houses our “essential” travel gear and laundry facilities, it is not the designated pedestrian entrance. To ensure the most secure and effortless movement, please use the front door for all arrivals and departures. The garage door is operated via a manual interior button only.
5. Can we bring our furry family members?
We love hosting well-behaved pets! To help us maintain our 5-star experience, we require a pet fee of $500 per pet per day. We simply ask that you never leave them unattended and follow local leash traditions.
6. Does the primary guest need to be in there during the listing period?
Yes. To maintain the boutique, personalized nature of our service, the primary account holder must be a resident guest for the duration of the stay. We curate these experiences for you and your group directly; third-party bookings are not permitted. This is also required for county rules.
7. What is your policy on celebrations and noise?
The Wandering Tavern homes are designed for connection and memories, located within peaceful, local communities. To protect the serenity of our neighborhoods, we strictly adhere to local quiet hours. While we love a milestone celebration, large parties and exceeding the registered guest count are not permitted. Please read the rental agreement for hours by property.
8. What “essential” luxuries are included in the home?
We believe in “Luxury, worry-free.” You'll find a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed connectivity, and a selection of shoppable essentials. If you find a piece of decor or a travel hack you can't live without, look for the digital catalog in your welcome guide to bring a piece of the home with you.
9. Is the property a smoke-free environment?
Absolutely. To ensure every guest enjoys a fresh, coastal-inspired atmosphere, smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the home. This helps us preserve the curated textures and organic elements that define our brand. There are designated spaces for smoking outside.
10. What are our responsibilities upon departure?
We want your transition from “Dream” to “Depart” to be effortless. We only ask that you:
  • Place waste in the designated outdoor bins.
  • Put all dishes in the dishwasher.
  • Ensure all windows and non-automated doors are securely closed.
What's the cancellation policy?
30 days prior to check-in we offer a full refund. After that there is a partial refund up to 15 days prior to check-in.
