We’re Alaura and Peter Krueger. Alaura’s maiden name is Kramer—it means “wandering merchant.” Peter’s name, Krueger, means “tavern keeper.” Put them together and you get Wandering Tavern: a place that travels with you and feels like home—whether that’s a short-term rental, a partnership, or the next opportunity you’re looking for.

With a strong background in business and finance, she focuses on the strategy, structure, and operations that make each venture sustainable—from how we run our short-term rentals to how we evaluate partnerships and investments. She’s the one making sure the numbers work and the foundation is solid so the rest can feel effortless.

Peter

Peter brings the “tavern keeper” side: he’s focused on people and place. He cares about building strong relationships with guests, partners, and everyone we work with—making sure each stay and each conversation feels personal and grounded. He’s the one making sure it never feels like just a transaction, and that our homes and projects feel like somewhere you’d want to return.
